Welcome to the PhotoSpin(TM) collection of 
Royalty Free Digital Images on CD-ROM. 

Please read the "InfoEngl.pdf" document in the Kick Me Folder 
for details on PhotoSpin and the images on this disk. If you’d 
prefer a language other than US English, we have versions in 
Japanese, French, Italian, German, and Spanish as well. You’ll 
find them in their respective subfolders inside the Kick Me Folder. 
To read the PDF documents, you’ll need Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.01,
which we’ve included for your convenience.  If you don’t have a copy
already installed, please refer to the end of this document for 
installation instructions. 

For your convenience we’ve cataloged each of the images in this
series using Extensis Portfolio. Portfolio is a simple and efficient
electronic catalog that allows you to search images by keyword and 
preview images on-screen. You can run the "Vol_#_.FDB" directly from
the CD using the Portfolio Browser Application, but for better 
performance we recommend you install the Portfolio application on
your hard drive. To install, simply double click the "Portfolio 301
Installer.exe" or from the "Start..." menu, select "Run...", click
the "Browse..." button, then navigate to your CD-ROM drive, find 
"Portfolio 301 Installer.exe" and open it. It will launch the 
Portfolio Setup Program which will guide you through the
installation process. Please note that the full commercial version
of Portfolio is installed, but its ability to function fully is
limited to 60 days from the time of installation. If you like using
Portfolio, you can keep it fully functioning by purchasing a serial
number from Extensis and personalizing your copy of Portfolio. If
you decide not to personalize it, you will lose some of the
funtionality of "Portfolio", and after the 60 day trial period it
will work like "Browser" (ie: you won't be able to create your own
Portfolio files).

For your protection, as well as our Artists, each of PhotoSpin’s 
Royalty Free Digital Images have been "digitally watermarked" using
Digimarc technology. The Digimarc watermark can be seen by a
computer but is imperceptible to the human eye. For automatic
Digimarc detection to occur, the Digimarc "Detect Watermark" plug-in
must be installed with your imaging software. A copyright symbol (©)
will appear in the title bar of a watermarked image to notify the 
user of its restricted usage. Included in the watermark information
is Digimarc’s web address where you can obtain further information
about the copyright holder. For a copy of the "Detect Watermark" 
plug-in and further information regarding Digimarc please contact
them directly or visit their web site at www.digimarc.com.

FOR PC:
Installers are located in "ACROBAT 3.01 WIN" directory;

Windows 95 and NT Users:
	Choose the Acrobat32 folder, run ar32e301.exe. 
	
Windows 3.x Users:
	Choose the Acrobat16 folder, run ar16e301.exe. 


For example, the pathname for Acrobat Reader installer for Windows
95 on Volume 1 is:
D:\Psvol001cd1\Acrobat 3.01 Win\Acrobat32\ar32e301.exe
(where D = your CD-ROM drive).

The following is a diagram of how the files are nested in folders 
on the CD-ROM:
